Produce High-Quality, Barcoded Foil Label Sheets Quickly and Efficiently
The Omnicell® Unit Dose Printing System meets the unique labeling needs of a long-term care pharmacy by providing printed label foil sheets to use when sealing single-dose blister cards. It is the only unit dose foil label printing system designed specifically for pharmacy operations.
The user simply scans the medication's NDC barcode and enters the lot number and expiration date. Additional customization for the printed label is possible, including providing alternate drug names and other custom fields. Changing to 1/2 tabs and 1/4 tabs, for example, is a simple process with custom field editing.
The label printing system allows a pharmacy to produce up to 18 sheets per minute. Efficiency is increased further by the multiview printing feature, which enables simultaneous viewing, editing, and printing of labels for up to three printers. A printable production report is available to track daily packaging activity and ultimately optimize pharmacy workflow.
Accommodates diverse packaging needs including unit-dose box, short-cycle dispensing, reclaimable blister cards, e-kits, and automated dispensing cabinets
Reduces waste by pre-packing expensive medications into reclaimable blister cards (where state regulations allow)
Saves money compared to manufacturers unit dose
